Competition in preparing the fish stew in the open air, rich cultural entertaining programme, tastings and so forth.
Festival of men skilled in preparing the fish stew. Each cook personally provides ingredients which make his own stew different from others. In Baranja it means that fish kettle experts are also the true connoisseurs of quality of chopped red pepper. Connoisseurs are able to judge its hot taste depending on colour and smell. Some people prefer thick soup, others wonder about the secret of the taste which is achieved by the variety of cooked fish.
