The Old Drava
The overall water area of this old Drava flow is 56 hectares. It is divided by a bridge and a dam into two lakes – the right and the left one. The left lake is overgrown with reed and is dominated by capital specimens of pike. A wild Danube carp also became domesticated here, having found an ideal feeding site in the miry bottom of the lake, rich in food. Along the entire left lake it is possible to catch giant specimens of dwarf catfish. Going westward, one reaches the area named Vodar. Here, there are excellent chances of catching carps and gibel carps, but also carp bream, rudd, roach, ide, carp, amur and pike.
