Birdwatching
For specialized groups of visitors, those interested in bird watching, the offer includes one-day or even several day programmes under the professional guidance. On the average daily basis, it is possible to see up to 60 bird species in Kopački rit and bird watchers are given a list of birds in order to be able to follow the species. The groups of bird watchers are limited to 10 persons, hence it is necessary to make a prior arrangement.
Kopački rit became famous worldwide with 291 bird species and 140 nesting birds recorded. In ornithological terms, it is one of the richest areas in both Croatia and Europe.
